Laga Lodge is a purpose built apartment, adjoining owners property,
by the shores of Loch Sunart on the magnificent Ardnamurchan peninsula.
An ideal base for fishing, exploring, bird & wildlife spotting.
Whale watching & Treshnish Isle trips to see puffins & Fingals Cave
or visit the Seal colonies aboard our own 38ft Aquastar Charter
boat "Laurenca". A marvellous way to explore the beautiful west
coast of Scotland.
Visit Tobermory ( "Balamory" to the younger children) on our community
ferry service.
Included in your holiday price is a small self drive boat with outboard
engine & all safety equipment. Watch seals, otter & porpoise on the shore & in the Loch from
your door! or Bring your own craft / dive rib and moor it right
outside the house.

A steep flight of step leads to the Lodge which consists
of an open plan lounge / diner / fully fitted kitchen. 2
shower rooms with power showers, basin and toilet. Sliding
patio doors lead from the lounge onto a large wooden veranda
with fantastic views overlooking the Loch.

The apartment has three bedrooms, a double, a twin room
and a triple room.

Underfloor heating throughout, T.V., video, D/washer, gas cooker,
microwave, fridge, all heating, gas, electricity, linen, & towels.
Freezer, W/machine, T/dryer & spacious drying room are also available

We are a small established family business offering accommodation,
Charter boat and self drive boat hire based at Laga Bay, Loch Sunart
on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, the most westerly point on the British
mainland. We boast stunningly beautiful mountain & loch scenery along
with outdoor activities such as fishing, diving, hill walking & climbing.
There is an abundance of wildlife including Red Deer, Otter, Mink,
Wild cat, Sea Eagles, Porpoises, Dolphins & Seals.
During the summer months we run regular trips to the Treshnish Isles
and Whale watching trips.
Included for residents of Laga Lodge is a small boat for use throughout
your holiday. Perfect for exploring Loch Sunart & Loch Teacuis, fishing
and wildlife watching.
Included are lifejackets, chart and safety equipment.
Launching is easy from the beach outside the Lodge.
We can provide fishing rods free of charge but not terminal gear (weights
and feathers etc) either bring your own or we can supply them at cost
price.
Fish to be caught in the Loch include Pollock, coalfish, ling, conger,
cod, dogfish, wrasse, skate (204llbs caught in 2003) rays, spurdog
and mackerel.
We can arrange to have groceries delivered to the Lodge for your arrival.
Please telephone, e-mail or fax your list to us beforehand. Groceries
can also be delivered on Mondays and Friday via the ferry service.
There are local shops and Hotels for eating out on Ardnamurchan at
Acharacle, Salen and Kilchoan.
Mooring and Launching facilities are also available.
Location Ideal for all Water Sports Enthusiasts
On Mondays and Fridays we operate a community passenger ferry service
connecting Laga and the surrounding area with Tobermory on Mull and
Drimnin on Morvern.
To travel on the ferry please book at least one day in advance..
There is also a lovely linear walk on the Morvern peninsula between
Doirlin and Drimnin. Drop off and pick up are by boat.
