Two Hour Private Charter
We offer customised charters in the area suitable for all seaborne activities from wildlife photography to wild swim support.
Your two-hour wildlife boat tour leaves our base at Laga Bay and crosses Loch Sunart towards the Morvern peninsula, cutting through the Isle of Carna narrows and into the inaccessable Loch Teacuis. Surrounded by the hills of Morvern we gently make our way past the loch’s many small islands watching for the abundant wildlife whilst admiring the beautiful scenery and ever changing colours. A not to be missed experience.
Starting out at Laga bay and head across Loch Sunart with amazing views all aroundand into the rich tidal waters of Caol Carna, a favourite fishing ground for otters and herons. Passing through the narrows we head down to Loch Teacuis and the seal colonies. On the way, there will be arctic and common terns nesting on the rocks as well as black and red-throated divers in the loch.
On the way back we return around the west side of Carna, seeing more seal rocks and shag nests on the cliffs. Rounding the northern end of Carna there is a good chance of porpoise in the deep water between the Carna and the mainland, before returning to Laga.
